The Congress will take place in Lublin Conference Centre at 2 Grottgera Street and the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures at 1 Plac Teatralny.

Lublin Conference Centre is a facility in city centre which offers 11 modern varied-in-size conference halls equipped in high-class devices. The largest hall covers 500 m2 including foyer and can seat 400 people. Additionally, there is a possibility to use rooms of the Business Centre, a spacious atrium, and an observation deck located on the last floor of the building.

The multifunctional building of the Centre of the Meeting of Cultures is the seat of a cultural institution. It consists of 4 auditorium halls (opera, cinema, intimate, ballet) and several catering points. The opera hall which is the biggest accommodates about 1000 people. A two-level parking lot can garage 247 cars.

Not only are LCC and CSK buildings located close to local airpot and well-communicated with Warsaw either by car or train, but also hey occupy a central place in the city, just within a walking distance to the Old Town, and neighbouring the oldest city park, the Saxon Garden.

Registration for Congress is possible only via an online form available on the website.
The registration form will be active until 14 September 2018. We kindly ask to register no later than that day. Should you have any questions or concerns related to the registration please contact Congress Information Office.

Participation in the Congress is free of charge.


We offer our help to all participants registered in the system, who declared they need visa to come to the Congress. We issue visa invitations which later we send to proper Polish consulates/embassies. Detailed data for visa application process should be submitted during the registration process.

People requesting for a visa invitation are required to register no later than 20 August 2018.


We encourage you to benefit from Lublin Airport (LUZ) which offers regular and convenient connections with Kyiv Zhuliany (IEV), Kyiv Borispil (KBP), Kharkiv (HRK), Kherson (HRE), Stockholm Skavsta (NYO), Oslo Torp Sandefjord (TRF), Glasgow (GLA), Dublin (DUB), Liverpool (LPL), Doncoster Sheffield (DSA), London Luton (LTN) and London Stansted (STN), Eindhoven (EIN), Munich (MUC) and Tel-Aviv Ben Gurion (TLV). The organizers do not cover travel expenses.

Both Congress venues have underground car parks - the LCC building with the entrance from Grottgera Street and the the Centre for Meetings of Culture with entrance from Radziszewskiego Street. Fee rates are progressive - charge of every additional hour of stop is getting more expensive in time - and are 3 PLN per hour on average. Moreover, both building are located in the middle of paid parking area.
Due to limited capabilities of car parks, it is highly recommended to arrive at Congress venues by public transport.


Eastern Europe Initiatives Congress is organised as a participative process, and therefore, we encourage you to submit proposals regarding the agenda of the Congress. In order to submit proposal, please fill in the APPLICATION FORM and send it to: kongres@lublin.eu, referring in the email subject to CALL FOR PROPOSALS, until 15 June 2018.


We would like to introduce a dynamic and casual form of sharing experience using World Café method. The representatives of interesting organizations and institutions will be provided with a particular space - a table, at which they will have a chance to promote their activities and discuss with other participants of the Fair and Congress.
